Healthcare technology often fails due to poor usability, especially for older demographics. For SehatKu, our primary directive was "Accessibility First." We conducted rigorous user testing sessions with individuals aged 40-65 to identify pain points in existing health apps. Insights from these sessions drove our design decisions, leading to larger touch targets, high-contrast typography, and a simplified navigation hierarchy.
We created a comprehensive design system that ensured consistency across iOS and Android platforms. The interface uses calming colors and clear iconography to reduce user anxiety during medical consultations. The beta launch received a 4.8/5.0 user satisfaction rating, with specific praise for its intuitive appointment booking flow. This project underscores our belief that good design is inclusive design, ensuring technology serves everyone, regardless of technical proficiency.
